Surveillance footage captured an altercation between Ice Spice and a fan inside a McDonald’s in Los Angeles, with the video quickly circulating across social media.
The incident Wednesday night at a McDonald’s location in Hollywood, where Ice Spice, whose real name is Isis Gaston, was seated in a booth with a friend. According to the footage, a young woman later identified as Vayah approached their table and attempted to get closer, appearing to ask the rapper’s friend to move so she could sit with them.
The interaction escalated when Ice Spice and her companion appeared to dismiss the fan, with the rapper gesturing toward the exit. Moments later, Vayah swung at Ice Spice, prompting the rapper to get up from the booth and engage in a brief physical confrontation inside the restaurant.
The situation inside McDonald’s was quickly interrupted when a bystander stepped in and separated the two, escorting the fan out of the building. The altercation then moved outside, where tensions continued between both sides. During that exchange, Ice Spice picked up a phone belonging to someone in the other group and allegedly smashed it.
As Ice Spice and her friend began to leave the area, the fan approached again and threw another punch while they were crossing the street, leading to a second scuffle before another bystander intervened and broke it up.
Following the incident, Ice Spice’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, confirmed that the matter had been reported to the Los Angeles Police Department. In a statement, he described the situation as an unprovoked attack and said they are pursuing all available legal options, including criminal and civil action. He also noted that they are exploring whether the location may bear responsibility related to security at the time of the incident.
The fan involved, speaking to TMZ, offered a different account of what led to the confrontation. She claimed the situation escalated after Ice Spice allegedly insulted her when she approached to show appreciation, which she said prompted her to slap the rapper.
