Cardi B performed her track “Bodega Baddie” from her latest album Am I the Drama?, taking center court surrounded by dancers dressed in orange Knicks jersey-inspired outfits.
Fans inside Madison Square Garden got a close-up view of the rap star’s bold entrance, from her floor-length hair flowing as she moved across the court to her gray bodysuit styled for the performance. She kept the momentum going by revisiting the record that first catapulted her into mainstream dominance, performing “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves),” her first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit, which held the top spot for three weeks in 2017.
After wrapping her performance, Cardi shifted from stage spotlight to sideline presence, settling into courtside seats under the basket with her 4-year-old son Wave for the second half of the game.
