Jemele Hill On @ESPN Suspension: “I’m Happy To Be Back”

by Yah Yah

Sportscaster Jemele Hill was placed under a two-week suspension by employer ESPN after calling for fans to boycott advertisers of the Dallas Cowboys, whose players were forced to stand for the national anthem by owner Jerry Jones. Jemele Hill was already served a warning after her Donald Trump tweets.

During her interview with TMZ Sports, Hill lets her supporters know that she is happy to be returning to the station this Monday (October 23rd) and that she is concentrating on moving forward. Hill also stated that she and ESPN are fine, that she put the station in a bad place, but she is still sticking to her guns and does not regret what she said in her tweets.

We are glad to see Jemele Hill returning to work in high spirits. We still #standwithJemele!
