Back in 2015, Wu-Tang producer RZA and Azealia Banks united to film a movie. Now, in 2017, we have the trailer for the flick, titled Love Beats Rhymes.

The arrival is the trailer has some scratching their heads, like last year, they had a very public fallout. At a Beverly Hills party, Azealia Banks claimed that Hollywood actor Russell Crowe assaulted her and called her a racial slur. A claim which both Crowe and the RZA both denied at the time. Since then, Crowe's name has been mentioned in the recent Harvey Weistein scandal. Crowe allegedly assisted Weinstein by helping to "kill" a 2004 story about his predatory behavior. Does the movie release mean that the RZA and Banks have patched up their differences? We're hoping so.

The movie follows Coco, a struggling, artist who is working hard to build her credibility in the industry. The movie also stars songstress Jill Scott and rapper/actor, Common.

"I'm extremely excited and vigorously inspired to be working with Azealia Banks in my new directorial installment," RZA said in a statement. "Producer Paul Hall and I have assembled a cool and eclectic cast to surround Azealia. Our story, which is set in today's contemporary youth culture, will bring a new voice to cinema that needs to be heard."

Love Beats Rhymes will screen in select theaters and available via On Demand on December 1st.
