Influencer Domo Wilson is opening up about her intention to observe her son’s sperm donor from a distance after identifying him.
In a now-viral video, she said her intention is not to intrude but is born out of a quiet curiosity about the man connected to her child’s identity.
In a candid explanation, Wilson made it clear that she has no desire to establish contact or disrupt the donor’s life. Instead, she described a distant, observational interest driven by questions about background, genetics, and family connections.
“I don’t want to talk to him. I don’t want him to know that I know who he is,” Wilson said. “I just want to see the life he’s living.”

According to Wilson, her approach is rooted in respect for both her son and the donor. She explained that the donor fulfilled a specific role—not that of a father—and she has no expectations beyond that agreement.
“He signed up to be a sperm donor, not a father,” she explained. “I’m not looking for ‘can you please be his dad’—absolutely not.”
Wilson also stressed that her son, Dominic, will ultimately control any future decisions about discovering his biological origins. She said she intentionally chose a donor arrangement that preserves that option, ensuring her child can explore his identity on his own terms when he becomes an adult.
“When he’s 18, he can go figure out who his sperm donor is. It’s his choice,” she said.
Much of Wilson’s curiosity appears centered on understanding the broader biological picture—particularly whether her son has half-siblings and what traits or experiences they might share. She revealed that she has already learned of at least one biological sibling close in age to Dominic, which has deepened her interest.
“I want to see the kids… Does Dominic have any other siblings out there?” she said.
At the same time, Wilson acknowledged clear ethical boundaries. She noted that she has avoided involving third parties or sharing identifying information, recognizing that such actions would cross legal and moral lines.
Her comments later drew criticism online, with some social media users taking issue with her use of the term “stalking” and questioning whether even passive observation respects the donor’s privacy.
Others, however, viewed her explanation as a nuanced reflection of the emotional realities surrounding donor conception.
