The Real Housewives of Miami star, Larsa Pippen, was the target of an attempted burglary at her Miami home on March 29, according to police, in an incident that ended with three suspects in custody after a failed break-in and a crashed getaway attempt.
Authorities say Treison Lache Booker, 23, Cortez Daymon Johnson, 23, and Elijah Eugene Russell, 18, traveled from Georgia to South Florida and specifically targeted Pippen’s residence. The home was unoccupied at the time of the incident.
Surveillance footage from the property captured the suspects as they attempted to gain entry. One individual was seen smashing windows, while another tried to force open a back patio door. A third suspect stood nearby during the attempt. After failing to access the home through the initial entry point, the group reportedly moved to another area of the property before ultimately abandoning the effort.
Investigators say the men then fled the scene in a vehicle. Shortly after leaving the residence, the suspects crashed their getaway car while attempting to evade law enforcement. Police footage shows the pursuit continuing on foot, with one of the men running through nearby brush before officers apprehended him. He was later taken into custody along with the others.
All three suspects have been charged with attempted burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, and authorities confirmed they remain in custody as the investigation continues.
The incident, which was captured both on home surveillance and police video, provides a detailed account of the attempted break-in and the events that followed, from the initial effort to enter the home to the suspects’ arrest after the failed escape.
