Megan Thee Stallion is facing a $1.2 million lawsuit from her former celebrity stylist, Eric Archibald, and his company Six K, who allege that the rapper failed to pay for wardrobe and styling services provided over the course of more than a year.

According to court documents filed in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County and reviewed by PEOPLE, Archibald and Six K claim they worked with Megan between January 2024 and August 2025, providing services that included styling, wardrobe coordination, fashion sourcing, fittings, tailoring, and event-related support.

The lawsuit alleges that dozens of invoices were issued during that period but remain unpaid, despite what Archibald says were repeated attempts to resolve the issue privately. The filing claims the unpaid balance totals approximately $1,243,501.98, along with additional interest, costs, and damages.

Among the documents submitted as evidence is an itemized invoice tied to Megan’s Pete & Thomas Foundation Inaugural Gala in New York City in July 2025. The bill, according to the filing, totaled $53,800 and included prep days, assistant fees, and the cost of three gowns for the event, which Megan attended on July 16, 2025.

Archibald and Six K allege that invoices were submitted between January 25, 2025, and January 8, 2026, and that each was supported by deal memos acknowledged via email by related entities connected to the rapper. The complaint states that “despite the fact that Six K has made numerous and unsuccessful attempts to resolve payment over the course of the last two years, there is still no imminent direction towards settlement between the parties.”

The stylist is now seeking “immediate payment of the outstanding invoices,” arguing that the alleged non-payment has had both personal and professional consequences, including impacts on vendors tied to the work.

Megan Thee Stallion, born Megan Pete, has firmly denied the allegations. In a statement shared with PEOPLE, her team said a detailed review of the charges raised serious concerns about the legitimacy of the billing.

“My finance team conducted a comprehensive audit of Eric Archibald’s wardrobe expenses and uncovered fraudulent invoices, unsupported charges, and styling shipments tied to addresses that could not be verified,” the statement read. “Those findings raised serious concerns about the legitimacy of expenses that we repeatedly tried to resolve privately with Eric’s team. Rather than address the issues from the audit, Eric and his team chose to file a lawsuit. The facts are on our side, and I won’t be coerced into paying charges that can’t be substantiated.”

The case now moves forward as both sides stand firm, with the dispute centering on whether the invoices reflect legitimate services or contested charges that remain unresolved.
