The audio dropped for “Wake Me Up” almost a week ago, and we all lost our sh*t! Now Remy Ma has unleashed the gritty visuals for the track, featuring the Queen Bee, Lil Kim. The formidable duo head to an industrial site, dressed up to the nines, to lay down their ferocious bars! The track apparently is not a Nicki Minaj diss track. Regardless, Remy is making it clear that she isn’t for the games as she spits,
“You a clown, and homey, don’t play that sh*t/ See, they ain’t slick, be talkin’ all cray and shit/ And then you see ’em, they be like they ain’t say that sh*t/ I hate that sh*t, I can make or break your sh*t.”
The chemistry between Remy and Kim is off the charts. We really need a more extended project from them, stat. But until then, the video for “Wake Me Up” will serve us well.
