North West marked a major moment in her young career with the release of her debut EP N0rth4evr, celebrating the milestone alongside family, including a warm public show of support from Bianca Censori at her Los Angeles pop-up event.
On May 1, the 12-year-old stepped into her own spotlight with the release of the six-track project, introducing herself as both a producer and artist. The EP reflects North’s creative direction, with her reportedly producing every track and experimenting with a mix of rage-rap, hyperpop, and gothic emo influences.
To mark the release, North hosted a pop-up event at Complex LA’s Fairfax location, where fans gathered to experience the project up close. The space featured vinyl editions of N0rth4evr, limited-edition merchandise tied to the EP, immersive visuals, and even an ice cream stand, creating an interactive environment around her debut.
During the event, North was joined by her father, Kanye West, who made a surprise appearance and spent time taking photos and signing merchandise for attendees. He showed visible support for his daughter’s first project, standing alongside her as she greeted fans. Also present was Bianca Censori, who shared a sweet hug with North during the event, a moment that quickly caught attention of attendees.
North, who shares a close public connection with both her parents, has previously performed alongside her father, most recently during his shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Her next step as a solo performer is already set, with a scheduled appearance at Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash in June, taking place at SeatGeek Stadium in Illinois.
The pop-up event continued into a second day on May 2, giving fans another opportunity to engage with the project and its accompanying merchandise. Alongside North’s release, music from Kanye West, including his latest album Bully, is also available through the Complex Shop in multiple formats.
With N0rth4evr, North West formally introduces her creative voice, marking the beginning of what appears to be an evolving presence in music shaped by her own direction and early experimentation.
