As if taking over WE TV wasn’t enough, media outlet Bossip is taking over A3C with their Women In Charge day of events.
The day celebrates some of hip-hop’s most influential women and includes MC Lyte, Angela Yee, Karen Civil, Janee Bolden, Amber Grimes, Fadia Kader, Dr. Lynn Richardson, Alicia Renee and many more talented women in the industry.
“As a woman who loves hip-hop culture, it can be difficult to find a footing, but the partnership between BOSSIP and A3C has demonstrated a long term commitment to making it clear that ladies have and continue to make an impact in the industry,” BOSSIP’s Managing Editor Janeé Bolden says of the partnership. “I’m so excited and proud for what we have planned with Women In Charge at A3C this year. This will be our fourth year of programming at A3C and with a full day of events, it’s certain to be our best yet.”
The A3C Festival is hip-hop festival in the heart of downtown Atlanta spanning 5 days including a 3-day conference and 2 days of music events and shows from Weds Oct 4th to Sun Oct 8th.
