Tiffany Haddish had all eyes on her during Miami Swim Week 2026, where the comedian and actress brought confidence, style, and plenty of personality to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Show runway.
Fresh off making history as the first comedian to land a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover, Tiffany Haddish gave fans another reason to celebrate as she showed off her toned figure while walking alongside some of the biggest names in fashion and entertainment.
The 46-year-old entertainer was among the celebrities featured in the highly anticipated Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Show during Miami Swim Week. Tiffany Haddish made multiple appearances on the runway, first stepping out in a leopard-print one-piece swimsuit before returning in a black fringed bikini that had the crowd cheering throughout the show.
Her runway moment came on the heels of another major milestone. Earlier this year, the comedian was unveiled as one of the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover stars, posing in a vibrant orange-and-yellow bikini while striking the magazine’s signature beach pose. The achievement marked a groundbreaking moment for the actress, who became the first comedian ever to appear on the publication’s cover.
For Tiffany Haddish, the cover represented the fulfillment of a dream that started years ago. Speaking with People, she reflected on her younger days competing in track and field and believing athletics would one day land her on the cover of a major magazine.
“When I used to do track and field, I thought I would be on the cover because I would be the most highest jumper of all time,” she shared. Although her athletic ambitions eventually gave way to a successful comedy career, she admitted that the dream never completely disappeared. “Once I got into standup comedy, I gave up on that dream,” she said.
The journey to becoming a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover star was not without challenges. Tiffany Haddish previously revealed that she gained weight after tearing both menisci in her knees while filming Black Mitzvah in 2019. Determined to improve her fitness, she found motivation through conversations with Olympic gold medalist Al Joyner, the brother of track legend Jackie Joyner-Kersee and the late Florence Griffith Joyner’s husband.
That dedication was evident as Haddish confidently took the runway in Miami, embracing every moment of her latest accomplishment. She also leaned into the excitement surrounding her cover with her trademark humor, sharing a video of herself walking through a hotel lobby in her swimsuit while placing copies of her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover on top of other magazines.
