Cassie Ventura has quietly relocated outside the United States following her legal settlements related to Sean “Diddy” Combs, and, according to newly surfaced court documents, she has no plans to move back.
The singer and model made the disclosure in a court declaration dated May 1, 2026, in which she stated, “I reside outside of the United States” and added, “I do not intend to move back to the United States.”
The filing, reviewed by multiple outlets, notes that Ventura remains a U.S. citizen but is no longer a California resident. While her current location has not been publicly disclosed, the declaration explains that it would be more convenient for her to participate in legal proceedings in New York, where her attorneys are based, rather than in California.
The court filing is tied to an ongoing lawsuit filed in California by male escort Clayton Howard. In the lawsuit, Howard alleges that he was hired by Diddy and Cassie for encounters commonly referred to as “freak-offs.” He further alleges that he suffered physical and psychological harm and contracted a sexually transmitted disease. Howard has also claimed that he fathered a pregnancy involving Cassie that ended in an abortion.
According to reports, Howard is among several escorts who cooperated with federal prosecutors during Diddy’s criminal case.
The filing also references an alleged message Howard reportedly sent to Cassie’s husband, Alex Fine, in 2023 after Cassie first came forward with allegations against Diddy. In the message, Howard allegedly expressed support for Cassie and said he believed “your wife’s truth is 100% valid.”
The message reportedly continued with Howard describing incidents he claimed to have witnessed during Cassie’s relationship with Diddy and expressing relief that she had found a different path forward.
Cassie’s relocation reportedly comes after she received settlements totaling approximately $30 million. Reports indicate that roughly $20 million came from her settlement with Diddy over allegations of abuse, while an additional settlement of approximately $10 million was reached with the InterContinental Los Angeles Century hotel following the release of security footage that appeared to show Diddy physically assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway.
Over the past year, Cassie has largely kept her focus on family life. She was pregnant and living in New York when she testified during Diddy’s federal criminal trial. Shortly afterward, she and her husband welcomed their third child together. According to reports, the couple’s baby boy was born on May 28, 2025, just weeks after Cassie Ventura took the witness stand.
Now, court documents confirm that she lives abroad and does not intend to return to the United States.
