#ForeverFirstFamily: Michelle and Barack Obama Voted 2018’s “Most Admired”

by Donicia A. Hodge

It has been 2 years since the Obama’s left the White House, but they have left a forever lasting impression on America.

An annual survey conducted by Gallup  has announced that Michelle and Barack Obama have been voted 2018’s “Most Admired.” The annual survey was conducted December 3 to 12 this year, and asked Americans to name a living man and woman whom they admire most. It’s been a tradition since 1946, the first year the survey was asked.

It’s the first time in 17 years that Hillary Clinton hasn’t topped the most admired woman’s list and it’s Barack’s 11th year in a row at number one. If he is named again in 2019, he will tie another former president, Dwight Eisenhower, who holds the record for the highest number of years named most admired man. The former first lady recently released a memoir, “Becoming,” and wrapped up a sold outmulti-city book tour.

Congrats to our Forever First Family!
