What began as a routine morning jog quickly spiraled into a frightening encounter for TikTok user Angel (@Iiangelxox5), who says she was harassed and chased by a man after refusing his advances.
In a now-viral video posted to her account, Angel alleges the man first began catcalling her before becoming aggressive when she ignored him.
The footage appears to show him following her in his car, hurling insults, and eventually stopping to confront her on foot.
At one point, the man can be heard saying, “You gotta let me get out and take your phone, bitch,” to which Angel repeatedly responds, “Get away from me,” while recording the encounter. She warns him on camera that he is “going to jail.”
Angel says police arrested the man shortly after the incident.
However, she now claims his family has been flooding her direct messages, allegedly pressuring her to take the video down. She has refused, saying she intends to use the footage to raise awareness about the everyday harassment and threats women — especially Black women — face simply for saying “no.”
The video’s caption reads: “Running while Black… being harassed and chased because I rejected a man, he decided to follow me while I was jogging.”
Her post has sparked comments about women’s safety, harassment in public spaces, and the power of documenting incidents in real time.
