Serena Williams is an incredible woman. The pro-athlete has been killing it on the tennis courts for more 20 years now and currently holds the record for having the most Grand Slam wins in the Open era.
Itâs not often we get to see an athleteâs vulnerability on display but itâs nice to know that even the strongest person has an emotional side to them. Itâs been a few weeks since sheâs given birth to her baby girl Alexis, and Williams decided to pen a sweet open letter to her mom on Reddit.
In her sentiment, she not only gushes over her beautiful baby girl she also thanks her mom. Williams also talks about the plight of being body shamed and even being accused of taking steroids in the past, but being able to pull through it because of her motherâs support.
Serena also expresses her gratitude and acknowledges her realization of her momâs accomplishments her desire to be such a wonderful role model her her newborn baby!
