Naomi Osaka: Tennis Star Triggers Rumours About Break-Up From Boyfriend Following Cryptic Tweet

by Gee NY

Tennis sensation Naomi Osaka has set off a wave of speculation about her relationship with boyfriend Cordae, just three months after the couple welcomed their first child.

The 26-year-old former World No. 1 hinted at a potential breakup in a now-deleted tweet on October 17, tnat said:

“I just want someone that will watch the sunset with me.”

Osaka had previously given hints about her relationship status in earlier tweets, such as:, “The art of loving yourself,” on September 27.

She also liked a tweet about “walking away from those that didn’t value you” a week earlier, reports Page Six.

What added to the rumors was Cordae’s silence on Osaka’s birthday, as he didn’t post any birthday wishes and was notably absent from her celebratory photo dump.

That’s not all, the couple have unfollowed each other on their social media accounts.

Osaka and rapper Cordae, who have been in a relationship since 2019, have not publicly addressed these rumors.

The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Shai, in July, with Osaka revealing that “Shai means God’s gift.”

She shared the first glimpse of her newborn, who was dressed in a tennis-themed onesie, expressing her joy and excitement as a new mom.

Osaka’s pregnancy was announced in January with a heartfelt post, and she vowed to return to the sport stronger than ever in the near future.

“Can’t wait to get back on the court but here’s a little life update for 2023,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

“I realize that life is so short and I don’t take any moments for granted, every day is a new blessing and adventure,” she continued. “I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, ‘that’s my mom,’ haha.”

ShineMyCrown reported that while she withdrew from the Australian Open shortly before the pregnancy announcement, she eagerly anticipates her return to the tennis world in 2024.
