Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz are marking 15 years of marriage, and according to Swizz, the key to their enduring relationship is simple: no arguing.
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, the legendary producer revealed that he and the 17-time Grammy winner have never raised their voices at each other.
“We’ve never had an argument,” Swizz shared. “Our kids have never seen us yell, curse, or lose control. It all comes down to communication.”
While the couple does have disagreements, Swizz explained that they always address issues calmly, avoiding unnecessary blowups.
“When you yell, no one’s listening. You can’t treat your partner like property,” he explained.
Alicia Keys expressed the same sentiment way back in a 2020 interview with James Corden, where she revealed that she and Swizz handle conflicts before they escalate.
“We converse before it turns into a big blowout,” she shared. “We don’t raise our voices at each other… We definitely communicate in a way where we don’t let it build up.”
Keys and Beatz, who tied the knot in 2010, share two sons, Egypt Daoud and Genesis Ali.
