“Bodak Yellow(Money Moves)” is officially the most played song in America right now! Knocking Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” to the third place after 3 weeks at the top, Cardi B has become the only female rapper in two decades to top the Billboard Hot 100 list without the assistance of other artists. The only other female rapper to have achieved this milestone is Lauryn Hill, whose “Doo Wop (That Thing)” topped the charts for 2 weeks after its debut in 1998.
The Bronx native (woop! woop!) is just the 5th female rapper to have topped the chart EVER, earning her congratulatory messages from fellow rappers such as Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Kim.
Congratulations to a fellow NEW YAWKA on a RECORD BREAKING achievement. Bardi, this is the only thing that matters!!! Enjoy it💕💞🎀 @iamcardib

The rapper’s label, the Atlantic records, celebrated the occasion with champagne and a cake modeled after the red bottom Christian Louboutin heels referred to in Bodak Yellow. Well deserved Bardi!
