Megan Ashley Stedman: Motorhome Belonging To 34-Year-Old Woman Who Vanished Mysteriously Leads Police To Killer

by Gee NY

A Washington man, Chris Brandon Foiles, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the presumed death of Megan Ashley Stedman, a 34-year-old woman from Bozeman, Montana.

Authorities are expressing deep concerns for Stedman’s safety, and her disappearance is considered suspicious.

Stedman was last believed to be with her estranged boyfriend, Foiles, according to a missing persons poster. She was known to drive a 1973 large, white Landau motorhome with a red stripe on the sides, displaying damage to the rear driver’s side light, and bearing a Washington license plate.

Notably, the red stripe on the motorhome was later painted blue in the last four weeks.

The investigation unfolded when Idaho Falls police responded to a call about a motorhome parked on Wardell Street in Idaho, matching the description of Stedman’s missing motorhome.

Upon locating the vehicle, officers detained Foiles and reportedly found evidence inside the motorhome that led to his arrest on first-degree murder charges.

Stedman’s body has not been mentioned in the reports, and authorities have not disclosed the cause of her presumed death. The Bonneville County Coroner’s Office stated it cannot comment on whether Stedman’s body was found at the scene due to the ongoing investigation.

A GoFundMe campaign initiated by Stedman’s brother, Adrian Mitma, to support her children, described the situation as a tragic loss. The community is rallying together during this difficult time for Stedman’s family.

Individuals who may have seen Foiles or the motorhome during this period are encouraged to contact the Idaho Falls Police Department by emailing IFPD Detective Reed at Creed@idahofalls.gov or calling the non-emergency dispatch line at (208)529-1200, referencing case number 2024-1289.

The investigation remains active as authorities seek more details about the circumstances surrounding Megan Stedman’s disappearance and presumed death.
