Cynthia Bailey may have walked away from “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but speculation over whether she could be joining the cast of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” has been bubbling since her engagement to Mike Hill.
Her sportscaster husband is based in Los Angeles. Hill divided her time between California and Atlanta before her exit from the show. Could Cynthia be moving to Los Angeles permanently?
“Never say never. I’m open, I will be wherever my husband is,” she told TooFab. Her husband then called her on Facetime. “Wherever we are, she’s going to be with me!” Hill said.
“He said what he said, he said, ‘Wherever he is, that’s where I’m going to be,'” she reemphasized. However, Hill was then asked whether he’d be happy if Cynthia started filming with the Beverly Hills ladies.
‘”Woah, wait, wait, wait — it’s too early for that! I’m still on break! It’s too early for that, no. I’m on break, he said it’s too early to talk about that. I’ve only been retired for two and a half weeks!”
Cynthia added, “You know what? I’m not closed to it but right now I’m enjoying just taking a drama break. I need a spiritual reboot, I want to do other things, we have so many other projects going on which you’ll be seeing about all that stuff.”
This week, Cynthia made headlines after revealing that she asked Marlo Hampton to visit NeNe Leakes with her after the sad passing of Gregg Leakes because she was afraid to do it alone.
“We’re obviously not friends anymore. However, just like the rest of the world, I had so much love and respect for Gregg and for what they shared together,” Cynthia told Us Weekly’s “Getting Real with the Housewives” podcast.
“I recruited Ms. Marlo [Hampton], and I was like, ‘You have to come with me to meet her because I’m scared to go by myself, I haven’t seen this woman in two years.’ I did not want to turn up to the Linnethia Lounge to have the door slammed in my face.”
