Quvenzhané Wallis Talks New Book Releases W/ @WendyWilliams

by Yah Yah

Quvenzhané Wallis took our breath away when she starred in the remake of Annie back in 2014. Not everybody was happy with the decision to cast the young, African American actress (white tears and all that), but her stellar performance earned her respect across the board. Quvenzhané is the youngest actress in history to receive an Academy Award nomination.

Wallis visits the Wendy Williams show where she opens up about her home life, being a freshman in high school and what it was like appearing in Beyonce‘s “Lemonade” video.

In 2015, the actress inked a four-book deal with Simon & Schuster. Quvenzhané currently has two new children’s books, “A Night out with Mama” and “Break an Egg” out now. She talks to Wendy about her new releases.
