In a groundbreaking achievement, three African American siblings from Maryland are poised to rewrite the record books as possibly the youngest CEOs ever in the state’s history.

Meet the Smith sisters5-year-old Tatiyana, 8-year-old Danyelle, and 10-year-old Jyniah — who are revolutionizing the youth entrepreneurship landscape with their visionary approach and entrepreneurial spirit.

As members of the Youth Investment Program (YIPs1) offered by G1 Investment, LLC, these remarkable youngsters have embraced the fundamental principles of transforming dreams into tangible realities that promise to yield long-term success.

Their remarkable journey, first covered by Black Business, will reach a significant milestone on May 6, 2024, at 10 am, during a Ribbon Cutting ceremony organized by the Charles County Chamber of Commerce and the Charles County Economic Development Department.

The event will be graced by Charles County Commissioner President Reuben B. Collins II Esq., alongside Commissioner Vice President Ralph Patterson and Commissioners Thomasina Coates and Gilbert Bowling.

Leading the charge is Jyniah Smith, the 10-year-old founder and CEO of Bakie Books, LLC, a dessert and beverage manufacturing company.

Recently securing their first retail partnership with Selby’s Grab and Go restaurant, helmed by internationally trained Chef Kendall Selby, Jyniah’s delectable creation, the “Bakie,” promises to tantalize taste buds with its irresistible layers of fudgy chocolate brownies, vanilla cake, chocolate chip cookies, and creamy vanilla glaze.

Meanwhile, 5-year-old Tatiyana Smith is making waves with Ezee Peezy, LLC, her beverage manufacturing venture set to challenge industry giants.

Offering a refreshing lineup of “Ezee” flavors such as Fruit Punch, Grape, Lemon Blast, and Blackberry, Tatiyana’s entrepreneurial prowess is already making waves in the competitive beverage market.

Behind the scenes, 8-year-old Danyelle LaShay Smith is the creative force driving D-LaShay Productions, a burgeoning media enterprise specializing in video production, graphic design, and editing.

With aspirations to establish a large broadcast media studio dedicated to delivering uplifting and empowering content for youth, Danyelle’s vision is poised to leave an indelible mark on the media landscape.

Together, these three remarkable siblings are not only breaking barriers but also reshaping perceptions about youth innovation and the transformative power of meaningful investments in young minds.
