Garcelle Beauvais proves time and time again that she is unafraid of her “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” co-stars and is standing by her close friend Sutton Stracke — after the ladies ganged up on her.
Last week, Sutton expressed to the ladies that she consulted her attorney to ensure that cast member Erika Jayne’s scandal would not tarnish her reputation. Some of the other ladies agreed with Sutton — namely, Dorit Kemsley.
“I don’t think ignorance is an excuse,” Sutton told Kyle Richards, Dorit, Kathy Hilton, Crystal Kung Minkoff and Garcelle.
“I just don’t when she’s so smart,” she added. “You’ve gotta choose: Are you gonna be smart or are you gonna be blissful?”
Days later, at Kyle Richard’s holiday dinner, the ladies appeared to gang up on Sutton.
Garcelle is calling them out.
“If you’re worried about, ‘Can we be in trouble?,’ isn’t that, in essence, everybody worried about themselves?” Garcelle said on the “RHOBH: After Show.” “Whether it’s your reputation, whether it’s your brand, whether it’s social media, all the things they brought up, why is everyone ganging up on Sutton?”
“If you know she said something, instead of going around the bush and putting a riddle and we gotta figure out what the riddle is, just say,’ Sutton, remember you said that?’ And then Sutton can go, ‘I did say that,’ or ‘I didn’t say that,’ but they never wanted to do that. They just kept on saying, ‘That’s not what you said, tell her what you said, that’s not your truth,'” Garcelle adds.
When Sutton eventually addressed her concerns to Erika, she was essentially thrown under the bus by the other ladies — except Garcelle.
“I have several LLCs,” said Sutton. “If that money did go in there, it seems you would notice maybe or question that.”
“I was kept away from the books,” Jayne responded.
“Even your own LLCs?” Sutton continued. “That would make me insane.”
Erika told Sutton she had no idea a damaging Los Angeles Times article was about to drop during the tense exchange. The LA Times reporter has since claimed Erika did know about the article before it was published.
