Natural hair care brand, Cantu, is launching a brand new line called, TXTR. by Cantu (pronounced texture). The salon-inspired collection is custom made for textured hair to be the simple solution for waves, curls, and coils.
Cantu is one of our favorite hair products. They work incredibly well and are always reasonably priced. As somebody who has locs, there are very few products that I trust to cleanse my hair and keep it moisturized the way I do Cantu, so I was super-excited about trying these products out
Both Sleek and Treat lines contain 4 amazing products that help to simplify shopping for waves, curls, and coils. All products are free of Mineral Oils, Sulfates, Parabens, and Silicones with added nutrients and oils to give your hair what it needs and nothing it doesn’t.

TXTR. by Cantu Cleansing Oil Shampoo
The shampoo is made with Apple Cider Vinegar and Tea Tree Oil. It did provide relief for my scalp, and I don’t suffer from a lot of buildups, but the little that I did have at the time, it cleared. Smells great and my hair felt very soft after using.
TXTR. by Cantu Hydrating Conditioner
I used this as a leave-in (you can leave in or wash out.) Sometimes with leave-ins, they can take forever to be fully absorbed into my hair. This didn’t happen. My hair lapped it up and left it feeling smooth. The cream is so light. This is one of my new “forever products.”
TXTR. by Cantu Scalp Saver
Full of vitamins. Keeps the scalp nourish and prevents dryness.
All of the products are less than $10 ($9.99 to be exact) but as I said before, they are always very affordable and the bottles are fairly large so they last a while.
