Shot in Cannes, Fr, Roubado tells the story of Alain Castelo, an introverted, aspiring photographer, struggling to deal with his parent’s breakup, his mother’s new live-in boyfriend only adds to his woes. When he crosses the line, Alain is then forced to take drastic action…How will it all end?
“The film is written and directed by Portuguese filmmaker, Erica A. Watson, and was produced as a graduate thesis film at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. The film stars: Darrell Lake (“The Incredible Life of Darrell”), Jean-Pierre Vertus (“La Fleur d’Haiti”), Mickaëlle X. Bizet (“American Crime”), and Tiffany Tenille (“Suitable”).
