Dressed stylishly for the occasion, Nene appeared to hold onto Nyonisela’s arm as she carefully made her way down the steps. Meanwhile, fans noticed that Nyonisela kept a purse tucked firmly under his arm throughout the walk.

Back in 2022, the couple found themselves at the center of a highly publicized legal dispute when Nyonisela Sioh’s estranged wife, Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh, filed a lawsuit against Nene Leakes in North Carolina. According to reports at the time, Malomine alleged that Nene became involved with Nyonisela while he was still married, contributing to the breakdown of their marriage.
The lawsuit claimed that photos and public appearances featuring Nene and Nyonisela caused emotional distress, mental anguish, and loss of affection. North Carolina is one of the few states that still recognizes alienation of affection claims, allowing individuals to sue a spouse’s alleged romantic partner under certain circumstances. Reports indicated that Malomine was seeking more than $100,000 in damages.
Longtime fans of Nene have also continued to remember her relationship with Gregg Leakes, who was a familiar presence throughout much of her reality television journey. The couple first married in 1997, divorced in 2011, and later remarried in 2013. Gregg passed away from colon cancer on September 1, 2021, at the age of 66.
