A Los Angeles family is mourning the loss of 21-year-old Lanai Ariyana Dees, who was found shot to death inside her crashed vehicle early Sunday morning, Nov, 17.
Police responded to the 2000 block of Century Boulevard near Wilton Place around 12:46 a.m., where Dees was discovered deceased.
Authorities are investigating the incident but have yet to identify a suspect or motive.
Dees’ family, describing her as a “sweet and kind” individual, is pleading for the public’s assistance in finding her killer.
“She didn’t deserve this. Please don’t stay silent. We have to get the person who did this,” her brother urged.
Detectives are working to determine if Dees was targeted or a victim of circumstance.
