Alicia Garza, co-founder of Black Lives Matter, revealed the FBI visited her after her name was one of many found on a list in an Idaho man’s home.
The man was arrested on weapons charges and believed he was working with white supremacist groups. He has not been publicly identified.
“The FBI visited my house today. They arrested a man in Idaho on weapons charges who they believe was affiliated with white supremacist groups. They found my name on a list in his home, alongside others,” Garza wrote.
“This is why this President is so dangerous. He is stoking fires he has no intention of controlling. I’m ok y’all, but this sh*t is not ok. Vote this muthaf*cka out. For real,” she went on.
Last month, railed against the Black Lives Matter movement, the 1619 Project, calling it “toxic propaganda” in the school curriculum.
“We are here today to declare that we will never submit to tyranny,” Trump said. “We will reclaim our history, and our country, for citizens of every race, color, religion and creed.”
He continued: “Left-wing mobs have torn down statues of our founders, desecrated our memorials and carried out a campaign of violence and anarchy. Whether it is the mob on the street, or the cancel culture in the boardroom, the goal is the same: to silence dissent, to scare you out of speaking the truth and to bully Americans into abandoning their values.”
Trump has repeatedly refused to condemn white supremacists outright and, during the first presidential debate this month, told the Proud Boys, a far-right group, to “stand back and stand by.”
