DJ Soupa Model sits down with Revolt to speak on her experience of being the first female DJ in Africa.
DJ Soupa Model is a Grammy Governor Board (DC Chapter) and is a voting member of the Recording Academy (Grammys). She’s produced for many artists including Beenie Man, Wizkid, T-Pain, Wale, and worked on Emmy Award Nominated shows Better Call Saul and House Of Lies. In this video, she also touches on the negative portrayals of Africa from the media, her singing roots, learning the craft of DJing and fighting to be accepted in the industry.
