Regina King will be directing an upcoming episode of the popular NBC drama, This Is Us. This won’t be the first time Regina King will be putting her directorial talents to work. Over the years, King has directed episodes of some of our favorite shows, including Scandal, Southland, OWN‘s Greenleaf and BET‘s Being Mary Jane.
King was recently nominated for the upcoming 2017 Emmys, for her role in ABC‘s award-winning show, American Crime and has also signed a development deal with ABC Studios, for her series No Place Safe, which centers around Atlanta child murders in the 70s and 80s. Not to mention her starring in the upcoming Netflix Original series, Seven Seconds, in which a young, African American boy from Jersey City is injured by the police.
The second season of This Is Us premieres on September 26th.
