2017 has already been an incredible year for Cardi B. Her single “Bodak Yellow” hit number three on the Billboard charts, and her acting career is flourishing. Last night, Cardi B performed her single live at the MTV VMA pre-show, and of course, they knew the lyrics word for word.
During the awards ceremony, Cardi B went off script to show support for NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, saying:
“Colin Kaepernick, as long as you kneel with us, we gonna be standing for you, baby. That’s right, I said it.”
