TNT‘s manicurist drama series Claws has been renewed for a second season! The show stars acclaimed actress and Emmy nominee Niecy Nash as nail salon owner Desna Simms, a salon owner with big dreams. Karrueche Tran also has a role in the series as former prostitute Virginia Loc who is under Desna’s protection. Carrie Preston, Judy Reyes, and Jenn Lyon also star in the series.
This is huge news, as viewers are just halfway through the series. The Season 1 finale doesn’t drop until August 13. Claws, which is produced by Rashida Jones, pulls in a whopping weekly audience of over 6 million viewers, making it cable tv’s #4 new drama! Welp, the numbers don’t lie!
