Watch The New Trailer For ‘Furlough,’ Starring Tessa Thompson, Whoopi Goldberg & La La Anthony

Tessa Thompson, Whoopi Goldberg and La La Anthony are starring together in an upcoming IFC film, ‘Furlough.’

According to DeadlineTHR, “Furlough centers on a woman (Thompson) who lives with and cares for her aging mother (Goldberg) while working part-time at a jail. At work, she is given a chance to show off her abilities when she is assigned to accompany an unruly prisoner (Leo) on an emergency furlough to visit her dying mother. The trip does not go as planned.”

Thompson recently starred in Thor: Ragnarok and of course, Janelle Monae’s new video, “Make Me Feel.” She is also set to star in an action-drama film about legendary jewelry thief Doris Payne.
