Beyoncé and Jay-Z aren’t the only ones to look forward to seeing this summer. It’s been reported that everyone’s favorite Fugee is headlining a festival this summer!
If you guessed Lauryn Hill, then you’ve guessed right! Ms. Hill is coming back, and she will headline the Pitchfork Festival this summer. It’s been quite a few years since we’ve seen the platinum-selling artist perform. However, this performance will be a special one. This performance will mark the 20th anniversary of her critically acclaimed solo debut The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill!

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill went on to collect numerous awards and accolades which includes spending four weeks at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, selling 422,624 copies in its first week. Those sales broke records in its first week, and she became the first female solo act to do so. The album went on to sell 1 million copies in the United States in less than a month. Along with that, she took home 5 Grammy awards in 1999.

 Rounding off the list of performers are Mount Kimbie, Zola Jesus, Courtney Barnett, Noname, Japandroids, Blood Orange and many more. The festival is set to take place July 20-22 at Union Park in Chicago.
