Conservative commentator Candace Owens took to her “Candace Owens Podcast” recently to express her disapproval of Ice Spice’s latest single, “Think U The Sh*t (Fart),” claiming it’s a sign of societal decline.

Owens drew parallels between the explicit content of this song and the controversial track “WAP” by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion.

In a clip shared by No Jumper, Owens labeled the song as one of the most “disgusting” and “filthiest” she’s ever heard, questioning the direction society is heading.

She played a snippet of the song during her podcast and criticized mainstream media for defending such explicit content.

“If you’re wondering whether or not it’s a good song, what do you think? It’s called ‘Think U The S**t (Fart).’ Now I think we can all admit that we’ve fallen as a society. I mean, I wouldn’t say that was Mozart or Beethoven,” she remarked.

Owens expressed her desire to live in a society where explicit content is acknowledged for what it is and criticized media outlets for attempting to portray such songs as “magical.”

She humorously remarked, “Can we get back to that? I don’t know. Let’s move on.”

Owens also took a swipe at hotnewhiphop.com for defending the lyrics in Ice Spice’s song, stating:

“This is the reason that nobody reads this crap anymore. You guys lie about the big stuff and you lie about the dumb stuff.”

Ice Spice released the controversial single on January 26 as the lead track from her upcoming album debut, “Y2K.”

During a recent appearance on “Hoda & Jenna,” she announced the album, which follows her successful EP “Like..?,” featuring hits like “Munch (Feelin’ U)” and four Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hits.

Billboard recognized Ice Spice as the No. 4 greatest pop star of 2023 in December, further establishing her presence in the music industry.

The controversy surrounding “Think U The Sh*t (Fart)” adds to the ongoing debate about explicit content and its place in popular culture.
