Annnd we have a name for the Royal Family’s newest member. Your #BabySussex hashtag can now be swapped for #ArchieHarrison! We’re loving Harry’s awe at the marvel of a woman’s power to create life and his continual praise of Meghan throughout the home stretch and clear up through delivery.
We’ll go ahead and say what you’re thinking: we’re SO glad the royal couple opted OUT of the staid, same-day hospital photo op. Can a mother have a moment? Jeesh. We couldn’t see Meghan doing that, and we’re glad she couldn’t either! Kudos to her and Harry for taking time to rest, recover a bit and then face the media. They know they will get even less rest from the cameras from this moment on.
The baby’s full name is Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. The first half means “bold/brave son of Harry”. Grand Muva Doria was on hand to help her daughter leading up to delivery, and Meghan, 37, had a midwife for the momentous occasion. Just look at all the love int he room while the Queen and Duke are introduced to Archie!
