VanJess Teams Up With Goldlink For “Through Enough”

Nigerian-American sisters VanJess liberate their new visuals for the Lophiile-cut “Through Enough” featuring GoldLink. If you remember, the single was featured in the second series of Insecure.

In the video, the pair heads out to meet up with a few friends before moving on to the party. “Through Enough” is about guarding your heart and your mind sometimes, we just need a little space.

“It’s a song we wrote about dealing with so many bad relationships you’re scared to start something new and get your heartbroken again, I think it’s a feeling a lot of people can relate to,” they told Complex UK.

“I need a little bit more space, yeah, space, yeah/ They won’t forgive him, misgrace, yeah/ Ooh, my heart ain’t making it through/ Another break has been through/ I gotta set the roots/ Before you come and then bang”

Grammy-nominated Goldlink blesses the track with a hot verse. Despite the heavy message, the uptempo beat is perfect for a boogie on the dancefloor!
