The speculation ended when an X user named Catrise J, who runs a hip-hop fashion site, clarified what happened. Responding to the viral post, she revealed that she was the woman involved and had experienced a wardrobe malfunction on the carpet.
“LOL, so if you all really want to know…. I had a wardrobe malfunction on the carpet, and @Normani peeped it — told @ciara and she kindly walked over to help me cover up,” Catrise wrote.
She shared a separate video showing Ciara approaching her to quietly alert her about the issue. In the clip, Catrise thanks Ciara while adjusting herself, clearly flustered. Ciara keeps the exchange brief and smooth, walking away without drawing attention. When Catrise calls out, “I appreciate you,” Ciara turns back and gives a wink before continuing on.
