It’s not every day where we get to see black girl magic grace the cover of a high fashion magazine but this month we will. Yesterday (October 17th) Elle Magazine released their covers for their Women in Hollywood issue, which includes legendary actress Cicely Tyson.

The Harlem born actress graces the cover in black and white and slays it at the age of 92! Tyson who’s started her career in Television and film back in 1951, won Actress of the Year for her role in The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman at the 1974 Primetime Emmy Awards. In recent years she’s played on televisions shows such as How To Get Away With Murder and House of Cards.

On the cover, the actress looks stunning sporting printed pants by B. Michael of B.Michael America, topping it off with a denim shirt by Calvin Klein.

In Elle, Cicely shares the significance of actually learning your craft and not relying so much on your beauty.“When all else comes up short, you will arrive on that, and that by itself.” At 92, Tyson is officially the second oldest woman to grace the cover of the magazine.
