19-year-old streamer Summyah Marie (known as Maya) reportedly became Floyd Mayweather’s latest obsession during a live stream.
A viral video has surfaced showing the renowned five-time world champion attempting to flirt with streamer Summyah Marie, better known as Maya, as she exited a restaurant in Los Angeles. However, rather than being awestruck by Mayweather’s fame, Maya maintained her composure and politely turned him down.
During one of her livestreams, viewers noticed Mayweather nearby, and the chat exploded in excitement. “That’s Floyd Mayweather!” one fan exclaimed, sending comments flying in all directions. Caught off guard, Maya laughed and admitted she thought it was a prank: “I thought they were lying. They said that Floyd Mayweather?”
Things took an unexpected turn shortly after. Maya shared that a member of Mayweather’s entourage approached her on his behalf to ask for her number. Remaining calm and collected, she handled the situation gracefully. “Oh, um, I have a boyfriend, so… no, it’s alright, I’m not interested,” she said, flashing a smile. When he asked her name, she replied, “My name is Maya. But I have a boyfriend.”
Reports indicate that Mayweather’s messenger echoed her name, “Maya,” before thanking her and walking away. And that could have ended the story, but of course, the internet had other plans. Clips of their interaction quickly spread across TikTok and X (formerly Twitter), where fans celebrated Maya for her respectful yet firm refusal. One tweet humorously noted, “Not Floyd Mayweather getting curved on camera!” while another praised, “Sis said ‘I got a man’ like a queen. Love that.”
Some even joked that this may be the first documented “loss” in Mayweather’s otherwise undefeated career.
