American actress Meghan Markle and Great Britain’s Prince Harry have today announced their engagement and their intention to marry in Spring, 2018.
It has been rumored that the couple (who have been dating for 16 months) have been secretly engaged for at least a month, but today (Nov. 27th) the news was made public and official.
Prince Harry, who is fifth in line to the throne Harry had to obtain permission from his Grandmother, so Markle had been given the Royal stamp of approval and the UK is about the have it’s first Black Princess (and we cannot contain our excitement!)

The UK’s Prime Minister, Theresa May also shared her congratulations for the happy couple via her Twitter account.
