Tokyo Toni Criticizes Beyoncé’s Charitable Engagement: ‘You Don’t Do Food Drives, Toy Drives, Clothing Drives’

by Gee NY

Tokyo Toni, mother of model Blac Chyna, recently voiced frustration with Beyoncé’s perceived lack of public community involvement, specifically food, toy, and clothing drives.

“It’s not that I hate Beyoncé … I don’t know Beyoncé,” she stated on the Quick Silva podcast.

However, she criticized Beyoncé’s public persona, saying:

“You don’t do no food drives, toy drive, clothes drive … you don’t push nobody.”

Despite Toni’s claims, Beyoncé’s philanthropic contributions span years, largely through her BeyGOOD foundation.

Since its inception, Beyoncé has contributed millions to various causes, including $6 million for COVID-19 relief, scholarships for HBCU students, hurricane relief, and more.

However, Toni argued that Beyoncé’s social media presence doesn’t reflect these efforts, saying:

“If you don’t post about it, it’s not real.”

Though Toni acknowledged she doesn’t “hate” Beyoncé, she added:

“I don’t rock how she moves.”

Her statements have fueled ongoing discussions about celebrity responsibility and visibility in philanthropy.
