Boxing champion Claressa Shields recently admitted that her response to rapper Remy Ma was fueled not by passion but by sheer idleness. The drama unfolded after Shields challenged Remy Ma to a boxing match following allegations that Shields had a relationship with Remy Ma’s husband.
The drama between rapper Remy Ma, Papoose, and world champion boxer Claressa Shields has reached another level.
The couple, famous for their tumultuous relationship, is back in the spotlight once again, this time embroiled in a dramatic feud over accusations of infidelity. The tension flared up late Wednesday and continued into Thursday when Remy Ma stirred the pot by sharing what she claims is a screenshot of text messages between Papoose and Shields.
The mother of two also revealed a direct message exchange on Instagram where Shields supposedly requested her help with fashion.
Nonetheless, Shields claimed that the messages were forged. “You making fake texts is crazy! I’m not a bi**h you can bully,” she wrote. “You’re bitter and mad. You making yourself look stupid, just stop it.”
Shields proceeded to challenge Remy with the since-deleted announcement: “Claressa Shields vs. @RealRemyMa Feb 2nd! Come get yo a** whooped crash out!!”
And now Claressa Shields has more to say on the issue.
The undefeated boxing champion took to social media to address the situation in her usual unfiltered manner. In a candid video, Shields laid it all out for her followers.
“When y’all think I give a fk. Listen to me. I do not give a fk about so much (stuff). And then it came that y’all think because I respond, I give a fk. I don’t give a fk. I be bored. Responding. I needed something to do. I had done worked out two hours straight. The rest of my day is free. I’m on an all-fruit detox. I don’t give a fk. I’m bored. Don’t ever think that because I responded to you that I care. Because I don’t give a fk about her, about him, about nothing.”
Whether this latest exchange will lead to further fireworks or fizzle out remains to be seen.
