Cardi B didn’t just show up to WWE SummerSlam 2025. She owned it.

Cardi B knows how to make an entrance, and she just proved it on the SummerSlam stage. The rap superstar stepped into MetLife Stadium as the official host and brought her signature brand of drama, fashion, and fierce energy to the wrestling world.

On Saturday, August 2, the rap superstar made her highly anticipated debut as host of WWE’s biggest summer event. With all eyes on MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Cardi stormed the scene in true Bardi fashion with feathers flying, ponytail slicked, heels high, and drama dialed all the way up.

Draped in a jaw-dropping feathered cape with a floor-length train and fishnets laced all the way up, Cardi hit the ring like she had something to prove, and she did. She wasn’t just there to host. She was there to remind folks that she’s that girl.

“We’re coming to you live from the Tri-State!” she shouted with her signature Bronx energy. “We’re making history tonight because this is the first-ever two-day SummerSlam. Yeah!”

The crowd roared. And just like that, the first-ever two-day WWE SummerSlam was officially under Cardi B’s reign.

But it wasn’t just about the fashion, Cardi B also took the moment to preview her brand new track, “Hello, It’s Me,” straight from her upcoming sophomore album, Am I The Drama?, set to drop September 19.

She teased the track in a second jaw-dropping look in a sculpted, all-black Schiaparelli gown with a fringe collar that screamed “bird goddess realness.” Her promotional wardrobe is clearly not random either. Fans have been noticing her bird-inspired looks popping up again and again. Call it avian chic, but Cardi is definitely sending a message that this album rollout has wings.

Of course, the event itself was stacked. The headline match saw Cody Rhodes defeat John Cena to claim the WWE Championship, giving fans the revenge storyline they were hungry for since WrestleMania 41. But even with all that ring action, Cardi’s presence was the talk of the night.
