Ashley M. Fox, founder of Empify, has achieved a major milestone in her mission to democratize wealth-building knowledge, as her fintech startup has secured a spot in the top 15% of the INC 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies.

What began as Fox’s determination to teach her community about investing has grown into a groundbreaking financial literacy platform, changing lives and making financial empowerment accessible to those often overlooked by traditional Wall Street institutions.

A former Wall Street analyst, Fox originally aspired to make her mark within the banking elite, managing the wealth of high-net-worth clients with portfolios worth millions.

But soon she began to question why the financial insights she managed daily were accessible to so few. Leaving her Wall Street career behind, Fox launched Empify to give others the same tools for wealth-building that she had seen shape the lives of the wealthy.

Her journey to success wasn’t easy. Fox faced setbacks, including financial difficulties and moving back to her parents’ home, yet her resilience fueled Empify’s growth.

Through workshops, school programs, and most recently, the WealthBuilders Community app, Empify has made an impact across various age groups and demographics.

Today, the app has attracted 3,000 members across 24 countries who have collectively invested $6.1 million, a testament to Empify’s far-reaching impact.

Empify’s success reflects a movement toward greater financial literacy and access, and Fox has her sights set high for the future.

By 2025, she aims for the WealthBuilders Community to exceed 10,000 members, with a collective $20 million in investments. Fox’s vision is to ensure financial literacy is attainable for everyone:

“This is a space everyone belongs in, and we’re here to help them understand it.”
