Ciara’s husband, Russell Wilson, referred to the birthday boy, Future, who played football like him, as his “amazing son” and “absolute baller.”
It’s a very special day in Ciara and Russell Wilson’s family as they celebrate their son Future’s 10th Birthday.
Ciara met Russell after ending her engagement to Future after a series of alleged cheating throughout their relationship. And that was also the same year Ciara gave birth to their son Zahir Wilburn Jr. in 2014.
Future Wilburn, the couple’s eldest child, turned ten on Sunday, and his stepfather gave him a special shout-out.
“Happy Bday Future! The big 10!! We are so proud of you & so grateful for you. You are our biggest blessing. An amazing son,” Wilson wrote on Instagram. “The best big brother!! An absolute baller! So kind and loving! Keep shining. Keep loving. It is our greatest joy watching you grow into the young man God created you to be! I can’t believe it’s been 10 years! God is good! We love you forever!!! @Ciara,” Russell shared on Instagram.
The Super Bowl champion shared a video montage of himself and Future posing with Ciara, taking selfies from different outings over the years, and sitting courtside at sporting events. With clips from baseball games included, Wilson also showcased Future’s athleticism.
For Ciara’s wish for her first son, the “Like a Boy” singer showcased Future’s personality and favorite pastimes, which — taking after his NFL star stepdad’s athleticism — include football, baseball, and basketball.
10-year-old Future also showed off some serious karate, pool, and horseback riding skills.
In another video shared by Ciara, Future is the doting big brother to his younger siblings: brother Win Harrison, 3, and sisters Sienna Princess, 7, and Amora Princess, 5 months.
“He’s anointed, loved, blessed, smart, funny, fun, gifted, special..and today, he’s 10 years old!” Ciara wrote in her caption. “I’m so grateful! Happy Birthday, Future! We love you so much and are so proud of you!”
