Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey has joined the cast of the third season of the CBS reality television series, “Celebrity Big Brother.”
“Let the backstabbing begin!” Cynthia declared in a promo snippet.
Cynthia exited “RHOA” after appearing on the show on seasons three through 13.
“Honestly, I have had a good run. It has been 11 years, and it was just time, and I think not only was it time, it was the right time,” she told ET Online in October.
The supermodel also left the door open for a possible return.
“Absolutely, 100%, and that is the great thing about the network, about Bravo,” she shared. “With the Housewives show, people come and go all the time, you have a peach one day, it is gone the next, they give it back to you, you are a friend of the show, it just keeps going.”
Since then, she appeared on the first season of “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.” Cynthia had a mixed reception. After getting into several conflicts with some of the other Housewives, and viewers were taken aback.
Cynthia was known as a peacemaker on “RHOA.”
Despite the criticism, she remained upbeat about her experience and offered a few words of advice to the next cohort.
“In terms of advice, I would say go into it to have a good time,” she said. “You know, at the end of the day, one of the great things is Girls Trip is very different from the regular Real Housewives of Atlanta. Breaking the fourth wall was so much fun. Like it was my favorite thing to do. But just be able to really talk about things that we don’t really get to talk about.”
The second season of “RHUGT” is already in the works. Bravo has not revealed the cast members.
