Rihanna might be a global superstar, but to her two little boys, she’s just Mom, and right now, they are so unimpressed with her.
The Fenty Beauty mogul and global superstar gave fans a rare and adorable glimpse into her life on mom duty, posting photos from a recent road trip with her sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 23 months. In a trio of candid Instagram shots, the singer caught her boys in full “we’re done with you” mode.
In the first pic, Riot throws his mom a hilariously unimpressed side-eye from the back seat, rocking white-and-yellow overalls, a tiny white tee, and a pacifier that’s giving “don’t talk to me until snack time.” Meanwhile, big bro RZA was deep in his toddler studies, hiding behind a French workbook like he’s got a pop quiz coming. In the final slide, Riot literally pulled the hood of his car seat down over his face, like, “Girl, go on somewhere.”
“They so over me on this lil road trip,” Rihanna joked in her caption.
While it’s unclear whether A$AP Rocky joined the road trip, he did pop up in the comments with a laugh. “RZA man learning French 😂😂😂,” the rapper wrote, proud dad vibes in full effect.
This family moment comes during what’s been a busy summer for the stylish clan. Just days ago, the couple brought baby Riot along to Paris for Rocky’s AWGE fashion show, and Rihanna served up another iconic maternity moment in a striped button-down that put her baby bump on full display. The couple was also spotted front row at Dior and later jetted off to Brussels for the Smurfs world premiere, where Rihanna rocked a custom sheer Chanel gown that had fans screaming, “Maternity Queen!”
While in Brussels, Rocky hinted they could be expecting a baby girl. That would make three kids under four for the pair, and honestly, at this point, they’re looking like the flyest young family in Hollywood.
Keep ’em coming, Riri, even if the kids are “over it.” We’re definitely not.
