The Diddy verdict continues to send shockwaves, and now T.I.’s wife, Tiny Harris, is caught in the crosshairs of a furious social media backlash!
After Sean “Diddy” Combs was acquitted of the most serious charges in his federal sex crimes case, Tiny hopped online to celebrate, but her comments quickly landed her in scalding hot water with fans who are bringing up her own past controversies and the memory of Diddy’s late ex, Kim Porter.
On Wednesday afternoon, Tiny Harris hopped online to seemingly celebrate Sean “Diddy” Combs’ not guilty verdict on the major charges. Diddy was acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking. However, he was found guilty on two lesser charges of transportation of former girlfriends for prostitution, a felony.
The drama unfolded when Tiny responded to a post from Ebonie Elektra, a friend of the late Kim Porter, who had praised the outcome as divine justice. Elektra’s original post read, “GOD’S WILL… is higher than any opinion, mistake, judgment, or gossip. If this is God’s will for Puff / Diddy, then that’s His will. In the end, what we think does not compare to His will. WHO ARE WE TO JUDGE??? That’s God’s job. It’s all in His hands. U never know.”
Under Elektra’s post, Tiny commented, “Yeah!!!!! … ppl wanna charge you so bad for being freaky…nasty work!!”
Although Tiny appeared to delete her comment shortly after posting it, screenshots circulated widely and instantly fueled massive backlash. The response didn’t sit well with many on social media, especially given the gravity of the allegations against Diddy. Critics quickly flooded not only Elektra’s comments but also Tiny’s own Instagram page with a firestorm of negativity.
Many brought up the strong friendships Diddy had with women like Kim Porter, the mother of his children, and the painful nature of the accusations made against him. Many reminded her that Diddy wasn’t found “not guilty” across the board and was convicted of transporting women for sex work, including Cassie Ventura and another woman known only as “Jane.”
And if that wasn’t enough, social media quickly turned the spotlight back on Tiny and T.I.’s own history. In 2021, the couple faced serious sexual assault allegations involving over 30 accusers.
Claims of forced drugging, kidnapping, rape, and intimidation were levied against them. Although no charges were brought due to the statute of limitations, their VH1 show was put on pause, and the controversy continues to linger in public memory.
