Danielle Moodie Warns ‘We’re All in the Blast Radius’ as She Criticizes Trump’s Leadership

Political commentator Danielle Moodie has delivered a sharp critique of global leadership and U.S. foreign policy, warning of what she described as the broader consequences of ideological thinking.

“We’re all seeing the cost of white supremacy,” Moodie said in a video posted to social media on Thursday, March 19, arguing that the highest levels of U.S. government were engaged in dangerous decision-making.

In her remarks, Moodie criticized President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, accusing them of contributing to rising global instability.

“What is it exactly that we should be thanking Donald Trump for?” she asked. “Ushering the world into potentially a global economic recession… having us on the verge of World War III?”

Moodie argued that a lack of expertise and understanding of global dynamics has fueled risky geopolitical decisions. Referencing the late writer James Baldwin, she said such miscalculations stem from a broader ideological framework.

“White supremacy only looks at itself,” she said. “You don’t need to understand your opponent… because you believe you are the best.”

According to Moodie, this mindset leads to poor strategic choices and long-term consequences.

“This is how white supremacy is always self-destructive,” she said, adding that history shows it often harms not only its proponents but others as well.

“The unfortunate part… is that it takes down everyone in its blast radius,” she added. “And unfortunately… we’re all in the blast radius.”

Moodie also criticized what she described as the sidelining of experienced professionals in favor of less qualified figures, arguing that expertise is critical in moments of international tension.

Her comments come amid ongoing debates over U.S. foreign policy, leadership decisions, and heightened by the recent strikes on Iran by U.S. and Israeli forces.
